    Rondel do Sil

    Es una pequeña bodega rehabilitada de un antiguo lagar, cuya filosofía se basa en ensalzar las variedades autóctonas mediante una cuidada elaboración artesanal.

    ‘Ronsel’ significa estela, surco que deja la barca cuando navega por el agua.

    En este caso Ronsel do Sil  pretende dejar su huella de pasión y respeto por el Paisaje sostenible y la Cultura del Vino en la Denominación de Origen Ribeira  Sacra.

    Viñedo

    El objeto de Ronsel do Sil  es la elaboración de vinos de alta calidad dentro de la D.O. Ribeira Sacra. A tal fin, cultiva dos hectáreas de viñedo, parte propio y parte arrendado a viticultores de la zona. La totalidad de la superficie es vendimiada a mano en los escarpados bancales característicos de la Ribeira Sacra.

    Variedades de uva

    Las Variedades cultivadas son Mencía, y Merenzao de uvas tintas; y Godello, Treixadura, Dona Branca de uvas blancas. Destinadas a elaborar vinos jóvenes, algunos de ellos con crianzas muy breves realizadas en barricas de roble francés y americano.

    Recientemente, en Ronsel do Sil acaban de plantarse un jardín de variedades autóctonas gallegas, localizado a los pies de la bodega a orillas del rio Sil.
