Notas de cata:	Es agradablemente afrutado, prominente, un esfuerzo sexy que tiene mucho kirsch, hierbas salvajes, regaliz, así como aromas y sabores de tierras secas, cuerpo medio a carnoso, así como un final largo con cuerpo.

Domaine de la Pertusiane

El enólogo Richard Case y su mujer, Sarah, dan vida a Domaine de la Pertuisane en el año 2002, en las estribaciones de los Pirineos, para elaborar vinos excepcionales de Garnachas viejas en la AOC Maury, en Languedoc-Rousillon.

Suelo

El viñedo de Domaine de la Pertusiane se asienta sobre empinadas laderas de pizarra alrededor de Maury.

Viñedo

10 Ha de viñedo plantado con cepas antiguas de Garnacha y Cariñena alrededor del pueblo de Maury. Un terruño excepcional para elaborar vinos de alta calidad, totalmente artesanal.

Los Vinos

En Domaine de la Pertusiane elaboran vinos poderosos, de color rojo concentrado, procedentes de viñas viejas con muy bajo rendimiento, de Garnacha y Cariñena, etiquetados como "Vins de Pays".

Vinos muy minerales y concentrados. Las viñas antiguas, producciones bajísimas y vientos Tramontane (vientos fríos provenientes del norte), proveen intensidad y fineza. Ciruela, hinojo y violeta dominan el aroma de unos vinos opulentos de gran cuerpo.

La bodega forma parte del portfolio de Kimberly Jones Selections, un proyecto que junto a Dave Phinney, que hoy cuenta con 80 Ha de viñedos excepcionales.
